I had another bad feeling day today. My white count did rise to 0.17. My platelets was 6 before the infusion of platelets. I got one bag of platelets today and one unit of blood. I don't know if the small rise in my white count means that it is turning around or not. I will know in the next day or so. The worst part of these bad feeling days are the issues I have with my digestive tract.
The APN put me on a different antibiotic today. It will require me getting two treatments each day. That means we will be going to UAMS in the morning at 9 a.m. and in the afternoon at 5 pm. This should continue for about eight days.

  1. So sorry you're feeling bad again praying you will feel better soon. Keep your spirits up Jerry & we'll keep our prayers going up for you. Miss you both so. Just went through some of my pictures tonight & found the shot of us all at Black Mountain having such a great time. Missing you both so.

  3. I hope the days are numbered before you begin feeling better. I pray for your recovery. It is difficult to eat or do much of anything when your digestive tract is so affected by the drugs. May you and Reta have the strength and patience to go to the hospital for your twice a day antibiotic treatments. Best wishes to you both.

  4. I hate that you're feeling so bad. I know they had told you that you'd have some days like this. Antibiotics can really mess with your digestive tract and make you feel terrible without all the other things going on. I pray
    those counts turn around!

  5. I don't like thinking about you feeling bad but everyone kept telling you it was coming. Maybe changing the antibiotic will help your tummy issues. Please keep eating as best you can. They are doing their best keeping the blood and platelets coming but eating is important too. Things will turn in a new direction soon. Love ❤️ you both so much
